Zahra and Ali....

It has been a week or more since I last updated this blog....not really in the mood i guess...

So now the mood is back...and i'm back writing lorrr.. =p

To start it all..here's a few pictures of Zahra and Ali ~my bro's son...

~it was kinda hard to snap pictures of the both of them in a ready mode...so far this is all that I could get.. =p

Isu Tudung ber'bonjol' @ bersanggul....!

At first there were tudung bawal...then shawls...then tudung indon...then tudung ape2 ntah lagi...wearing tudung is a straight forward order from Allah the Al-Mighty...and people being creative as they are created so many versions of tudung...some are good and some are bad...

The latest trend is having to wear shawls or tudung with a 'bonjol' on top...my dear friends...that type of bonjol is NOT ALLOWED in Islam..

refer these Hadiths...

“ akan muncul dalam kalangan umatku di akhir zaman, kaum lelaki yang menunggang sambil duduk di atas pelana, lalu mereka turun di depan pintu-pintu masjid. Wanita-wanita mereka( isteri mereka atau anak perempuan), berpakaian tetapi seperti bertelanjang ( nipis&ketat). 

Di atas kepala mereka pula(wanita) terdapat bonggolan (sanggul atau tocang) seperti bonggol unta yang lemah gemalai. Oleh itu laknatlah mereka semua. Sesungguhnya mereka adalah wanita-wanita yang terlaknat” - hadith riwayat Ahmad, jil.2, ms. 223.

Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda:

“dua golongan penghuni neraka yang mana aku sendiri belum pernah melihat keadaan mereka didunia: golongan yang membawa cemeti seperti seekor lembu lalu menggunakannya untuk memukul manusia dan juga kaum wanita yang berpakaian seperti bertelanjang, menggoyangkan badan dan berlenggang-lenggok, kepala mereka ada suatu seperti bonggol di kepala unta yang bergoyang-goyang. Mereka tentu tidak akan memasuki syurga atau mencium baunya sedangkan bau syurga itu dapat dihidu dari jarak perjalanan begitu dan begini” –hadith riwayat Muslim. Hadith no 212

~I myself am not perfect and still need a lot to learn...so this hadith is a reminder for myself and also all the muslims in the world.....May we all be a better servant to Allah...aminnnn (^_^)

Zahra and Auntie ZueZue....

Last nite auntie ZueZue came to see Zahra.... (^_^)

She came to our house after work...then around 8.30 me, ZueZue and Zahra went out for dinner...at first we planned to just go to Queensbay and then decide what to eat....queensbay was kinda packed..with couples of course....~sigh...

On our way there ZueZue keeps on calling Zahra's name to prevent her from sleeping..though being very sleepy...Zahra still managed to flash a smile... =) ~noti auntie nieee..kaco zahra nak tdoooo... =p

At queensbay most of the restaurants were full....so we decided to just go shopping for a while and go back to eat at a restaurant near my house..at that time i wasn't sure either its still open or not...~zue2 yang lapar siap tny byk kali gi...'sure rrr bukak??'.... =p


Luckily the restaurant was still open...so we had our dinner and went back home.... it was a nice nite... =)

Zahra and crawling...

After months of 'reversing'....finally Zahra is starting to go forward...

Zahra dah mula merangkak...kedepan..! syukur Alhamdulillah....

Zahra smgt merangkak sbb nak kejar.....................................................her own self image in the mirror... =p

~eventhough there were some 'stops' waktu merangkak...yang penting..she's moving forward...Alhamdulillah...after all..she is a beginner... ;)

Cafe Latte....

Haaaaa....some of my friends who sees this picture would be a bit blurred....coz I'm not really a coffee drinker...! ;)

But..this is no ordinary cafe.................see their tagline...'gets hot anytime,anywhere'....LITERALLY okay!

I was on my way back from Tanjung Malim with my mum and brothers...so we stopped at petronas Sg Perak for some refreshment...'waktu tu dah pukul 12 mlm wooo..'

My lil bro saw this tin and showed it to me...I looked at it..and instantly said...'beli..beli..kite test'

For me...tin ni...canggih! ....because this is the first time I've such a tin...and moreover..its....

We tried it out..of course...the cafe didnt get really hot...but it got warm...ok la kan..maybe we didnt shake it well..or maybe we didnt wait it enough..who knows kan...still kagum gk la....

Raja Lawak 5....6th week...

This week the contestants got a surprise task from Johan and Zizan..Originally their task was 'cerita kedai kopi'...but juz a couple of hours before the live show, Johan and Zizan gave them another task...

They were given random things and they had to use the thing not as its original use (eg...if you were given a comb..you cant use it literally as a comb) ~contoh by Johan... ;)


So here were the things given..

Leman: Lampu minyak tanah


Man: Tudung Saji


R2: Tong sampah & swimming flippers


Pukaw: Bola...very2 huge pencil and ruler


Lucky: pelampung & senduk


Epy: roda basikal


and my fav....Balas: kipas berdiri & hoola-hup

The best performance...BALAS laa...even Sathiya (one of the judges) said the same thing... ;)

Beanieplex @TGV 1st Avenue Penang

I'm a hardcore movie fan....at least I used to... =p usually I would go to almost all movie premiers (yg for me worth it of course!)

After getting married...everything slows down...my 'reputation' as someone who knows all about movies starts to fade....tapi takpe...thats what we call sacrifice for a better future...for the sake of hubby syg & baby zahra..its okay for me... =)

But..when I heard that TGV in 1st Avenue opens and they have a unique hall....a hall with beanbags as seats...I knew I had to try it...

Coincidently my lil brother came back home last sunday..so as he's also a fan of movies...we went to try the beanieplex...

This is the first time my priority was the hall..not the movie..! hahaha...

Showing that day at beanieplex was Mr & Mrs Incredible..a chinese movie...not really movie material..but what the heck..im here for the hall..not the movie... =p

The beanieplex wasnt full juz now...so me and my lil bro end up taking 2 sets of beansits...so one big beansit for each one of us...hehehe...very2 the comfortable lah! =p

After 10 Years...KMPP

A Tribute to Kolej Matrikulasi Pulau Pinang....

Went back to KMPP after almost 10 years leaving...~fuh..! tak sedar plak dah 10 tahun..! anyway..umah MIL dekat je..tu yg sng dtg...hehehe..

A place where I spent a year of my best time ever...2001...and why would I say that..because I had everything.. and my life was almost perfect..!

My hostel...kompel sri Ixora....the 'Desa Flora' sign was built during my year there...at first my frens and I were like..'wat?? desa flora? like uewwww...!'....but after some time..it was kinda okay..after all our hostel got the name ixora..thats kinda cool for a flower name... =p 

Wondering why I put the last pic there? ~yang ada kete merah tuuu.. thats were my aunt used to live...she was a lecturer there + the warden for one of the hostels there...so thats one of the factors that made my life heaven...i could juz go there anytime i want..moreover during my year...we were allowed to go out juz once a fortnight! imagine that! so having my aunt there gave me a lil privilege of going out anytime i want...with my aunt of course! =p

Clockwise....The library..my fav spot to study...the hall where we had our smayang terawikh n other functions...the lab building...the alley heading towards our classes and the lecture hall building... =)

These are my places to hang out dolu2....I literally went inside the pool juz for the sake of taking my picture in it..! now all thats left is juz a run-down pool...it used to be kinda nice..! ~sigh...

That mushroom thingy was also built during my year...thus making it a fav spot to almost everyone...lepak2 je kt situ + its shady with that mushroom covering our heads... =p the last pic was me (now) at the sports podium...during my year there...after asar..sumtimes we would juz hang out there looking at 'anybody' whose playing sports...cuci mateee..! hehehe

Lastly the front gate....the road there was where we usually need to WALK juz to get to the bus...because the bus sumtimes does not want to go inside matrix...jauh sgt la katenye..sabo je ler...! and ..the squash hall...its kinda my fav sport kat sane dulu....used to go there very early juz sbb nk amik turn main! hahaha...~good ol' times...!

To end this post..here's a picture of one of my roomies + best bud in matrix...Nur Azura Mohd Zabidi...she got married just a few days ago...~5th of february...congratz to her..! *wink* *wink*

Raja Lawak 5....5th week...

Raja Lawak 5th week...theme: musical comedy...

The performance...semer so-so je....the best one that nite for me...of coursela BALAS.. =p

if including everyone..not juz the contestant...I wud say zizan + johan la was the best...hehehe....they were awesome eventhough zizan was sick!

But...but......never thought that one of the bottom three was BALAS..! ~owh tidak..!!!!


So shocked when their name were called to the stage..my heart was literally pounding when they gave david teo to announce whos gonna get eliminated...~see how deep I am with raja lawak..! =p


To my relief...there was no elimination this week..I guess this was to cover the 2 elimination in the 3rd week...

So-called Workplace...

Cubicles.....

This is the story of the changes in my cubicles..(^_^)

Its been hard finding the one cubicle that really suits me or makes me comfortable even from the wide range of cubicles in my school usm...I changed 3 times before finally getting the one I really liked...

Cubicles in my school are A LOT..! but they come in many sizes...and of course...the largest is usually hardest to get as it is after all first-come-first-serve basis...

As I was about to change to my second spot...I noticed a kinda large cubicle empty..I knew the student who were there before..and to my knowledge...the student is still here...directly pursuing his PhD after completing the Masters..so i asked a fren of mine..

Me: eh..Falah takde dah ke..bukan ke dier sambung PhD?

Kay: ade..dier pindah bilik tech kt depan tu

Me: uuuuuu...so cube ni takde org dah la nie....~shining eyes.. =p

Kay: takde la kot...

Me: eeeii..nak2...nak book la cube nie..

Kay: ok je...

So ape lagik...that same afternoon I called the tech in-charge to book that cube..n I got it..! Alhamdulillah... =)
